After replacing everything at all 4 corners never had another issue and I traded the jeep in about 6 months later and bough the brand new 2014. That is the problem with buying a used vehicle you never know exactly what the history is. When I tore it down to swap all that out I discovered it was the right rear caliper, since I had everything for the parking brakes I went ahead and swapped all that out just to be on the safe side. I ordered everything to redo everything on the parking brake assembly handle cables shows and hardware. I originally thought it was parking brake not releasing all the way because it acted. If I recall I was only a few hundred bucks into the whole project. MY old rubicon had a right rear caliper piston that was starting to hang up the calipers were not very expensive I just went ahead and threw 4 new calipers on it. If it is just as difficult to compress, then the caliper may be an issue. If it moves easily, the caliper is probably fine. Now, loosen the brake bleeder screw on the caliper (use something to catch the fluid) and compress the piston again. If it feels like it is seizing up, once you get it compressed push the brake to again move the piston back out a bit. But if it feels like it is virtually seized that's a problem. There should be some resistance, often quite a bit.

This job will also require replacing the brake piston seal. Now, with the brake pedal fully released and the cap off the master cylinder reservoir, see how much effort it takes to compress the caliper piston. When rebuilding a caliper, a new brake caliper piston might be required. Don't push the brakes hard, you don't want to damage anything. Gently push the brake until the piston moves out a bit. Put something (a caliper piston compression tool is convenient, but a block of wood can work) in the caliper that will allow the piston to come out a bit, but stop it from going too far.
